Diagnostic Imaging Consultants (DIC) is a physician-owned hospital-based private practice group in Chattanooga, TN, looking for a partnership-track neuroradiologist.

The ideal candidate will be personable and motivated to work alongside the physician leaders of a rapidly growing Neurosciences division within the hospital. The hospital program has recently earned Comprehensive Stroke Center status and employs its own neurointerventionalists and neurosurgeons. This private practice has provided radiology services for 40+ years to the CHI Memorial healthcare system, now serving three hospitals and two outpatient imaging centers. The group includes thirteen (13) radiologists (three fully remote) and one nurse practitioner.

Job details:

  • Full-time 18-24 month partnership track position with a competitive starting salary based on experience.
  • Small buy-in to accounts receivable. No real estate, equipment, or good will.
  • 70-80% neuro, 20-30% general. No mammo, unless desired. Minimal peds, OB, and procedures (occasional lumbar puncture, thoracentesis / paracentesis, shoulder / hip arthrogram).
  • Monday-Friday day shifts are primarily onsite and occasional remote optional shifts.
  • Monday-Friday swing shifts (2-10 pm) can be entirely remote and very infrequent (1-2 times per month).
  • Weekend call is shared equally amongst all rads, approximately every sixth weekend, and consists of Sat/Sun 7a-2p day shifts, on-site one day and primarily remote if desired the other day. NO required weekend shifts after 2 pm.
  • Internal moonlighting after hours for additional compensation is available.
  • Third-shift overnight coverage is provided by vRad with final reads.
  • Active participation in multidisciplinary conferences is expected. This will primarily be a brain tumor case conference and a separate head and neck cancer conference.

Job Requirements:

Candidate should be ABR board certified or board eligible and have completed a neuroradiology fellowship. Tennessee and Georgia state medical licenses will be required to practice.
